Setting up camera and tripod.

Setting up the camera.
1. We had to extend the legs of the tripod and secure the legs in place by locking the into place.
2. From here we opened the extended central column snd braces so the tripod was up straight and could be used to film.
3. The attach the camera we had to pull the quick release platen and attach the pattern to the camera.
4. We then turned the camera on and opened the lens cover by flicking the switch.
5. To raise the camera and secure it in place we had to adjust the crank handle and twist it to lock it into place.
6.While filming the knife throw scene we used the pan handle to whip the camera across during the knife throw so it tracks whats happening.
7. We tested using the slide tilt option on the camera which produces a canted angle if we needed one.

First task was to get a medium close up shot of character 2 without the knife in them.
Next we got a mid shot of a whip pan from character 1 to an empty space.
Then we got a mid shot of a whip pan from character 1 to character 2.
Then we did an over shoulder shot of character 1.
