Shot List

I have colour coded my work so we can see what work we need to do for each reality so its clear what props, costume, lighting etc will be needed
( Is it a dream or is it reality, ENGIMA NARRATIVE)
  1.  Establishing shot 2 seconds exterior house (morning) then cuts to bedroom or school
  2.  Medium shot of interior of bedroom 2 seconds (morning, room not occupied) ( various shots covering the room, 180 rule) ( morning noise)
  3.  (Voice over dialogue )(Music kicks in) 2 seconds
  4. .Production companies  3 seconds (After effects)
  5.  Voiceover continues
  6. Protagonist in school talking to friends (2 boys, 1 girl) over shoulder shot, long shot, close up, ) 2 seconds
  7. -Close up of Alex 1 second
  8. -Close up of Adam 1 second
  9. -Close up of Emma 1 second
  10. -Close up of Alex 'I have dreams..'  1 second (Music becomes more fast paced)
  11.  Intertitles 2 seconds 

  12. Sequence of short cuts, dream (black and white, Same scene, different angles) , real, Calendar dream(B&W), real etc 3 seconds
  13. ( voiceover dialogue explain content of the dream to a doctor)
  14.  1 second shot of a adult saying ' and then'
  15.  Fade to black, protagonist in detective outfit over looking the victim scene 1 second
  16. Panning zoom of victim 2 seconds
  17. Aerial shot 1 second
  18.  low angle shot 1 second

  25. . wakes up in classroom with a teacher yelling at him (camera tilts upwards with the protagonist's movements) 1 second
  26. Jump cut to him arguing with the teacher, yelling back at the teacher (over shoulder shots then cuts to a pov of a fellow student (looking guilty and frustrated) 
  27. Long shot of kicking a chair 1 second 
  28. Close up of the door slamming 1 second
  29.  MCU protagonist in bed 1 second (looking slightly annoyed, can't sleep) 
  30. Fade to black 1 second
  31.  inter titles 2 seconds
  32.  Voice over of a news report (Breaking News) 3 seconds
  33. Close up of Max Cooper's reaction 1 second
  34.  New murder scene 3 seconds (B&W) 
  35.  Panning shot of the New victim, close up of their expression (lifeless, fear) 2 seconds 
  36. Cuts to detective at scene analysing the murder weapon (Over shoulder shot) 2 seconds
  37. Flashback to the murder scene with the victim being stabbed 1-2 seconds
  38. Then cuts to a high angle shot from the victims pov 1 second which shows inferiority 
  39. Jump cut to witness interview, MCU of the protagonist's real life friend who is now portrayed as a druggie/hooker which fits the conventions of film noir 1 second
  40. cuts to CU of the hooker 1 seconds
  41. cuts to over shoulder shot of the hooker looking towards the detective. 1 second
  42. Low key lighting as the victim flashes 1 seconds
  43. Object of significance towards a clue at the scene 2 seconds , panning zoom towards the object to look like a character's perspective 
  44. A LS of the character as he shows exhaustion as he rages out in an alley 2 second
  45. A canted angle shot of the detective and his partner talking about the case (dialogue) 2 seconds
  46. Cuts to an eye level mid shot of the two detectives as the dialogue continues 2 seconds
  47. Black screen (Music Changes) 3 seconds
  48. MCU of the protagonist in real life panicking at the time limit which is retraining him CUS Zooming in ( 2 seconds)
  49. Quick flashes of ECUS of the clock ticking 0.5 seconds
  50. Black inter titles 2 seconds actor names 
  51. The protagonist looks up at the camera (high angle shot) as he is inspecting the next victim which is beaten to a bloody pulp (1 second) (Iconic piece of dialogue occurs) (tilts)
  52. Fades to black (flashes) 0.5 seconds
  53. Same shot of the protagonist in reality (1 second) 
  54. Protagonist talking to his friends in reality, group picture from medium shot ( 2 seconds)
  55. VLS of the detective walking and picking up a clue ( 2 seconds) 
  56. VCU of the detective picking the clue up ( low angle shot ) 2 seconds (81 seconds)
  57. Builds up to the rise (Music increases) which adds to the hits 
  58. The Turn line which makes the music fade as a important piece of dialogue (3 seconds ) while the protagonist is looks up at the camera (dialogue is a thought) 
  59. The next's victims crime scene ( enigma narrative as the victims faces are the protagonist) 3 seconds as the area is scanned over with a LS zoom out.
